Ruth Zearfoss has a longstanding interest in diverse aspects of RNA biology. In her graduate work at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and postdoctoral studies at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, she has studied subcellular mRNA localization, cytoplasmic mRNA polyadenylation, and the biochemistry of RNA-protein interactions. She joined the Cell Reports editorial team in 2014. She handles papers in all scientific areas and particularly enjoys papers on RNA.
